Federal agents may have visited Adam Lanza’s home prior to his mass shooting at Newtown Elementary School, according to documents released on Tuesday.
A local resident had told the FBI that the shooter’s mother Nancy Lanza said her son once hacked into a government computer, prompting a response from authorities.
The mother told the federal agents that her son was very intelligent and was challenging himself to see if he could hack into the system, the documents said.
The agents allegedly told the mother that Adam might be smart enough to work at their agency.
Nancy Lanza was murdered by her son before he went on his rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
