A Michigan mom who went missing from a cabin in the woods last month made a desperate phone call before she vanished, claiming that she was involved in a shootout with two men, according to a report.

Adrienne “Ada” Quintal, 47, was reported missing Oct. 17 after calling for help from her family’s cabin in Honor, around 130 miles north of Grand Rapids, MLive.com reported.

The single mom told family members around 2:34 a.m. that two men were outside the cabin shooting while she was indoors. She claimed she’d shot one of the men in the face while the other shot her, according to the Detroit Free Press.

When authorities arrived, there were multiple bullet holes and casings in the cabin, but she was nowhere to be found, reports said.

There was no blood or evidence that anyone had been injured, but her 9mm gun was on the floor, officials said.

She also left behind her personal belongings, including her vehicle, cellphone and purse, authorities said.

Her family hasn’t seen or heard from her since the concerning phone calls — and they’re now raising the reward to $100,000 for information about her disappearance, MLive.com reported.

“It is gut-wrenching. I lay awake every night wondering where she is,” her sister, Jenny Bryson, told the Detroit Free Press.
