An airplane crashed into an Arizona carport on Saturday morning — and the pilot suffered no serious injuries, according to reports.

The Phoenix Fire Department responded to the incident around 11 a.m. near Deer Valley Airport and found the airplane had collided with a commercial carport structure, Arizona Family reported.

The pilot was flying a Senior Aero Sport plane when he reported an engine issue, the Federal Aviation Administration told the outlet.

Only the pilot was onboard the flight and was able to exit the plane himself with only minor injuries, the outlet reported.

He was evaluated at the scene and refused to be taken to the hospital, according to the report.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
