A longtime “American Idol” supervisor and her musician husband were allegedly gunned down in their California home by a burglar — who has been arrested over the shocking double murder, according to a report.
Raymond Boordarian, 22, was busted in connection to the deaths of Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca, who were both shot in the head in separate rooms of their multimillion-dollar Encino home, ABC 7 reported, citing law enforcement sources.

The suspect was in the home for 30 minutes before the couple returned home, the LAPD told the outlet.
Authorities added that they believe the break-in was isolated, with no connection to any crime rings, according to the report.
Last Thursday, authorities received two calls reporting a burglary at the Encino residence, but left after they saw no signs of a break-in.
However, surveillance footage apparently showed the suspect entering the home that same afternoon, ABC 7 reported.

It’s unclear if the police checked the home before or after Kaye and Deluca were killed.
The slain couple’s $4.5 million abode was one of the largest and seemingly most secure in their neighborhood, surrounded by high walls with spikes.

Kaye was a celebrated member of the “American Idol” team for 15 seasons and collected numerous awards along the way, including several Guild of Music Supervisors Awards.
“Robin has been a cornerstone of the Idol family since 2009 and was truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her. Robin will remain in our hearts forever and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time,” an “American Idol” spokesperson told Variety.
