An accused serial killer who targeted men in Toronto’s Gay Village neighborhood looked haggard at his brief appearance in court Wednesday.

An exhausted-looking Bruce McArthur appeared on video in an orange jumpsuit for the minute-long hearing, during which lawyers said they’re continuing to receive important information in the case, according to the Toronto Star.

The 66-year-old landscaper faces eight counts of first-degree murder for the killing spree between 2010 and 2017 — but police are looking into older cases dating as far back as 1975.

Many of the victims had ties to the city’s Gay Village and some were immigrants from South Asia or the Middle East.

McArthur was arrested in January and charged with the murders of Selim Esen, 44, and Andrew Kinsman, 49, who both went missing in 2017.

He’s also been charged in the deaths of Majeed Kayhan, 59; Soroush Mahmudi, 50; Dean Lisowick, 47; Skandaraj “Skanda” Navaratnam, 40; Abdulbasir Faizi, 42; and Kirushnakumar Kanagaratnam, 37.

Police said he killed the men and buried their remains in potted planters.

McArthur is due back in court June 22.
