A suspected American rapist accused of faking his own death to live under a fake identity in Scotland to can be extradited to the US to face multiple sex charges, a UK judge ruled Wednesday.

Nicholas Rossi, 35, has long claimed to be a wheelchair-bound Irish orphan named Arthur Knight who has never been to the US, let alone committed the sex attacks he’s accused of in Ohio and Utah.

He even claimed that tattoos proving he was Rossi had been inked while he was in a coma as part of a bizarre conspiracy to frame him.

Ruling for Rossi to be extradited, Sheriff Norman McFadyen — a judge in Scotland — called the fugitive “as dishonest and deceitful as he is evasive and manipulative.”

He sent the case to Scottish ministers, who make the final decision on extradition cases. No date has been set for that decision.

The fugitive, appearing via video link, refused to answer when asked if he was Rossi — and was cut off after calling the judge “a disgrace to justice.”

He sat hunched over in a wheelchair — one he does not need, according to a prison doctor who previously testified that she’d even seen video of him kicking a prison officer in the face.

The Rhode Island native is wanted by Utah authorities for allegedly raping his 21-year-old ex-girlfriend in her apartment in 2008, records show.

DNA allegedly also matched him to a sexual assault case in Ohio, where he also faces charges of fraud for taking out credit cards in his foster father’s name and amassing more than $200,000 in debts.

In Rhode Island — where he was known as Nicholas Alahverdian — he is also wanted for failing to register as a sex offender.

Rossi is accused of faking his own death in February 2020, soon after telling local media that he was battling late-stage non-Hodgkin lymphoma. 

An obituary claimed he died on Feb. 29, 2020 — with a wife and two kids beside him — but police continued searching for him after seeing no proof he’d passed.

He was found in December 2021 at a hospital in Glasgow, where he claimed to be Knight, a kooky Irish orphan.

However, he gave himself away when his accent kept changing in public, with his distinctive tattoos then coming up as a match on Interpol appeals.

In a series of wild legal arguments, he claimed his distinctive tattoos had been added while he was in a coma — and that his fingerprints were manipulated — all in a bid to frame him during torture sessions.

Rossi even called upon his wife, Miranda Knight, who swore she had no idea he was Rossi — and that he’d used another name, Nicholas Brown, on their wedding certificate, the BBC previously reported.

However, the same judge, McFadyen, ruled last year “that Mr. Knight is indeed Nicholas Rossi, the person sought for extradition in the United States.”

Rossi’s ex-wife, Kathryn Heckendorn, told the BBC that she married him in Dayton, Ohio, in 2015, just a few months after they met.

“It was the first day he first hit me, right after we were married,” she recalled.

Rossi, she continued, was controlling, manipulative and often physically abusive.

She said she did not know at the time that Rossi was a registered sex offender who, in 2008, was found guilty of sexual imposition and public indecency.

Heckendorn recorded one instance of abuse, which later helped her secure a divorce and rebuild her life.

“It angers me first that he keeps pulling all these stunts — he was doing the same thing with our divorce,” she told the outlet of the ongoing proceedings in Scotland.

“Always being ill or having some legal issue. Some excuse to postpone, delay, continue the hearing, the same exact stuff.

“The only one he’s got convinced is himself.”
