All Americans who would like to receive a coronavirus vaccination will be inoculated by June, a top official of President Trump’s Operation Warp Speed said.

“A hundred percent of Americans that want the vaccine will have had the vaccine by that point in time,” Lt. Gen. Paul Ostrowski, Operation Warp Speed’s director of supply, production and distribution said during an interview on MSNBC Monday.

“We will have over 300 million doses available to the American public well before then.”

Ostrowski’s promising announcement comes just after drug company Moderna applied to the US Food and Drug Administration for emergency use authorization of its coronavirus vaccine Monday.

Pfizer and BioNTech also filed their application with the FDA earlier last month for authorization of their COVID-19 inoculation, which was 95 percent effective in major clinical trials.

Moderna said its coronavirus shot was 94.1 percent effective in late-stage clinical trials.
