Papa is returning to Florida.
The annual Ernest Hemingway look-alike contest is set to return to the Florida Keys after being postponed last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a report.
The 40th contest, which is part of the annual Hemingway Days Festival, will take place July 22-24, said organizer Donna Williams.
The bearded and burly author, whose works included “For Whom the Bell Tolls” and “The Old Man and the Sea,” preferred his nickname “Papa” because he hated Ernest, he once said.

Other events include the Key West Marlin Tournament, literary readings and a 5-kilometer run.
