Austin authorities were responding to another explosion, this time at a Goodwill store on Tuesday night, a report said.
One person was injured and police and fire officials were responding to the scene at the nonprofit store on Brodie Lane in Austin, according to the KABC-TV.
A man in his 30s was transported to a local hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
Police later said that the item inside the package was not a bomb but “an incendiary device.”
They added that it was not related to previous incidents.
A Goodwill spokesperson told KVUE-TV that the victim was an employee who was looking through donations when the package exploded.
The Goodwill store was just miles from a FedEx center where it is believed a bomber attempted to send two explosives — one detonated at a FedEx center near San Antonio.
