Authorities found a second suspicious package addressed to California Rep. Maxine Waters Wednesday — this time at a Los Angeles mail sorting facility.
The package appeared to be similar to the bombs previously sent to Democratic politicians in NY and DC.
The label was addressed for the 80-year-old congresswoman, sources told CNN and the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Earlier in the day, a congressional mail facility in Maryland found a suspicious package sent to the democratic representative’s Capitol Hill office.
The news comes as packages containing makeshift bombs were sent to a number of prominent Democrats — including former President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton — and CNN’s New York bureau.
Investigators are also looking to track down a suspicious parcel they believe is addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden, a federal official told Reuters.
