A male American scientist at the desolate McMurdo ­Station tried the dating app Tinder just for laughs, and ended up finding a female researcher to keep him warm.

They’ve met only once since December and are a 45-minute helicopter ride apart, says New York magazine. But they plan to meet again before their stints are over.
