An anti-Israel protest got the OK to go ahead during the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Chicago — as a pro-Israeli group remains in limbo for approval to stage its own demonstration, according to a new report.

The Israeli American Council (IAC), a nonprofit organization that advocates for Israeli-Americans, has yet to hear back on whether it will be allowed to protest at the DNC, which starts in less than two weeks, the Jewish Insider reported.

Anti-Israel groups, meanwhile, have already gotten permission for a “March on the DNC” near Chicago’s United Center after the groups sought a First Amendment lawsuit against the city for attempting to restrict the demonstration.

“It seems like we don’t have equitable access to whatever the other group was approved for,” IAC chief programming officer Aya Schechter told the outlet.

IAC had filed two applications with the city to hold a protest.

The first request, submitted in mid-June, was rejected because it “would be a direct interference with a previously planned permitted activity or public assembly and would create public safety issues.”

The city instead offered the IAC to hold its rally in a public park on the last day of the convention, with the group rejecting the offer because it was too far away from the United Center.

Schechter claimed that unlike the anti-Israel groups, the IAC would not seek a lawsuit against the city to be allowed to protest despite their eagerness to advocate for the victims of Hamas’ Oct. 7 massacre in Israel.

“We definitely wanted to bring up more awareness around the U.S. citizens who were either killed on Oct. 7 or kidnapped and are still being held in Gaza,” Schechter told the Insider. “That’s something we think is important to raise awareness during the DNC.”

The IAC and Chicago city officials did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

The Democratic National Convention is set to run from Aug. 19 to 22.
