Thousands of anti-Israel protesters flooded Washington, DC, dying the city’s fountains blood red – and even unleashing maggots as well as other creepy crawlers at a hotel where some of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s delegation stayed ahead of his Wednesday speech to Congress.
A video posted to X by the Palestinian Youth Movement showed moving critters scattered across a table flanked by Israeli and American flags.
“Palestine protestors (sic) manufactured chaos at the Watergate Hotel last night so that Netanyahu, Israeli Mossad agents, and the Secret Service had no peace as they continue to terrorize our people,” the organization posted on X.

“Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our guests and staff. We took the necessary steps to ensure the property has been sanitized and is now operating as normal,” the hotel said. “We are cooperating fully with authorities, who are handling the situation. As this is an open case, we are unable to provide any further details at this time.”
A law enforcement source told The Post that even though the conference room appeared to be set up for official business, it was “not part of our agreed upon security plan with the Israeli security services and our local partners.”
Secret Service spokesman Abel Trevino, a rep for the Public Safety Joint Information Center working on the visit, said, “The Watergate facility has an expansive footprint and remains open for businesses, residences and guests. At no time was there any threat to our protectees.”
On Capitol Hill, thousands gathered to decry President Biden and Netanyahu’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war.
Some protesters fashioned a paper mache, blood-soaked Biden, which was held above the crowd.

“Prime Minister of Genocide,” a sign near the display read.
Another called the prime minister “Satanyahu.”
The crowd was so large that outside law enforcement agencies – including the New York Police Department – were on hand to help with security.

“Their motto in New York is to serve and protect,” the speaker screamed. “Well right now, they’re serving and protecting a genocidal lunatic.”
NYPD and the Israeli embassy did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
