At least nine people were dead and 30 feared missing after a Colombian tourist boat suddenly sank in the waters near Medellin, officials said.
The boat, which was carrying more than 200 people, sank into a reservoir for unknown reasons on Sunday.
Rescuers were able to quickly save about half of the passengers while others swam ashore.
A number of boats also rushed to the scene to save the desperate passengers as the ship went under.

The head of the disaster response agency confirmed that nine had died and the rescue attempt was ongoing.
