The suspected Austin bomber appeared to have been searching for new targets in the area before he died Wednesday morning, according to reports.
Investigators found that Mark Conditt’s Google search history showed he was researching addresses in Austin and the suburb of Cedar Park, sources told KVUE-TV.
Authorities obtained a search warrant for Conditt’s search history after capturing him on security video sending explosive-filled boxes from a local FedEx store and obtaining store receipts of suspicious purchases, an official told the Austin Statesman.
Conditt, who cops believe was behind a spate of recent bombing attacks in Austin that killed two people, blew himself up as authorities were closing in early Wednesday.
