Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti is still considering running for president despite his bust for domestic violence, according to a report.

“I’m still considering it,” Avenatti told USA Today. “I will not be intimidated. The measure of a person is how they get up when they are knocked down.”

Avenatti also threatened later Friday to pursue legal action against TMZ, which first reported that the woman who filed a report claiming he hit her in the face was his estranged wife, Lisa Storie-Avenatti.

“Whomever wrote and approved that TMZ article better get their checkbook ready because it was purposely malicious and false,” he tweeted. “It was designed to harm Lisa, me and my family and we are going expose TMZ for what they did. No journalist should rely on or defend garbage like that.”

Storie-Avenatti earlier released a statement that said she was not the alleged victim and that she “has never known Michael to be physically violent toward anyone.”

The pugnacious lawyer was arrested Wednesday on a felony domestic violence charge for allegedly attacking a woman at a Los Angeles apartment, leaving her face “swollen and bruised.”

He was released later that day on $50,000 bail and issued a forceful denial to the allegations, saying, “I have never been physically abusive in my life nor was I last night.

“Any accusations to the contrary are fabricated and meant to do harm to my reputation. I look forward to being fully exonerated,” he said. “I did not strike any woman nor have I ever. I did not strike my ex-wife in the face nor did I hit anyone else in the face.”

Avenatti blamed his arrest on right-wing internet conspiracy peddler Jacob Wohl, who was implicated in a scheme to make false sexual misconduct allegations against special counsel Robert Mueller.

“First Mueller and now me,” he tweeted Thursday. “When we are fully exonerated I am coming for you Jacob Wohl aka Surefire.”

Daniels, the porn star who claims she had an affair with Donald Trump in 2006 and was paid to keep quiet about it, said she would seek a new lawyer if the domestic violence allegations against Avenatti are true.

She said “that right now they are just allegations, and I’m going to reserve judgment and I hope that everyone does, because, trust me, I know what it feels like to be on the other end of that,” according to CBS News.

“As a matter of fact, some of the stuff that was already on TMZ has turned out to be completely false,” she added.

TMZ did not immediately respond to a message from The Post for comment.
