SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Cops responding to reports of a robbery in progress at a bank closed for the night quickly spotted the suspect — a 12-year-old boy wandering through the bank, his pockets full of rolled coins and snacks.
The boy was taken into custody at the Bank of America branch here in Southfield at 2:55 a.m. yesterday.
He told investigators that he’d broken in by ramming his bicycle through a bank window.
