At least two people were killed and more than two dozen others were injured in a mass shooting that took place during a block party early Sunday morning in Baltimore.
Baltimore Police Department Acting Commissioner Richard Worley said an 18-year-old woman was found dead at the scene. A 20-year-old man also died, and three others are in critical condition, WBAL TV reported.
Other block party attendees were taken by first responders to hospitals and as many as 20 victims arrived at area hospitals with their own transportation.

An 18-year-old and a 20-year-old have been reported among the victims killed in the shooting. APDuring a press conference, Worley confirmed there were a total of 30 victims in the shooting, which broke out just after 12:30 a.m. in the Brooklyn Homes area of South Baltimore.
All of the victims were adults, Worley initially said, but at least four victims were treated in the University of Maryland Medical Center’s Pediatric Emergency Department, according to the hospital, which did not provide their ages.
A suspect is not in custody, but investigators are reviewing video from the scene and talking to witnesses to try and identify the killer or killers.
“I want those who are responsible to hear me, and hear me very clearly,” Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott said at the scene.
“We will not stop until we find you, and we will find you. Until then, I hope that every single breath you take, that you think about the lives that you took, think about the lives that you impacted here tonight.”
As many as 20 victims arrived at area hospitals with their own transportation.
Police are reviewing video to track down a suspect in the case.
Scott asked anyone with information to come forward to assist investigators locate whoever is responsible for the shooting.
“Treat this as if it were your family,” Scott said. “How you would want people to treat it if you were mourning, if this was your neighborhood, if this was an event in your community that this happened at. We want you to treat it that way because that’s how we have to treat each other as Baltimoreans.”
The mass shooting happened during an annual block party in the working-class neighborhood, the Democrat told CNN.
“It’s an event that happens in Brooklyn every year,” he said.
“Folks were out there having a celebration and then at some point, gunshots rang out and folks of course were trying to get away, get out of there.”
