WASHINGTON — During the high-stakes raid to get Osama bin Laden, President Obama took the edge off by playing cards.

Obama’s former “body man,” Reggie Love, said during an event at UCLA last month, “We must have played 15 games of spades” while awaiting developments in the raid.

“Most people were like down in the Situation Room and [Obama] was like, ‘I’m not going to be down there, I can’t watch this entire thing,’ ” Love said.
