Before-and-after satellite images of an Iraqi air base targeted in Iran’s attack on US troops shows the damage from the strikes.

One of the images released by Planet Labs Inc. highlights five areas of destruction at the Ain al-Assad air base, which was hit by 10 ballistic missiles.

Juxtaposed with a satellite image from Dec. 25, the damage is clear.

At least seven structures appear to have been obliterated in Wednesday’s image, taken after the attacks.

Nobody was injured the strikes, the Pentagon has said.

U.S. defense officials said American early-warning systems detected an incoming ballistic missile well in advance, providing U.S. and coalition forces adequate time to take shelter at both bases.
