Fox star Anita Vogel is back on air after a year that would break anyone.

The longtime correspondent returned to ‘The Big Weekend Show’ Friday stepping into the studio after surviving the Palisades wildfires and enduring the heartbreaking death of her husband of 13 years from pancreatic cancer.

Vogel, 56, told followers that 2025 was “one of the hardest times” for her family.

“It has been the hardest of times for our family. I’ve taken several months off to deal with the unimaginable loss and by the grace of God we are moving forward one day at a time,” she wrote on X.

After taking several months off to grieve and rebuild, she’s returning to work as part of her healing journey to get a sense of “normalcy.”

Fans flooded social media with support, applauding her resilience and expressing sympathy for the tragedies she endured.

“So many of us that watch and appreciate your talent as a news person are wrapping their arms around you and your family. I can only imagine how proud your husband was of you,” one person wrote.

Vogel’s X announcement sparked a wave of support, garnering hundreds of kind messages and reaching a milestone of 300,000 views.

As a veteran of Fox News, Vogel has long anchored the network’s coverage as their LA correspondent, first appearing in 2001.
