Bentley, Texas nurse Nina Pham’s beloved King Charles Spaniel, is officially Ebola free!
The puppy, who got a third negative test for the disease late Thursday, will reunite with his owner Saturday after his 21-day quarantine officially ends.
“We cannot be more thrilled,” Dallas city spokeswoman Sana Syed told The Post. “There was a lot of apprehension, since Bentley was the first dog to be in isolation because of Ebola.”
Syed said she has been in touch with Pham every day.
“She could not be more excited,” she said.
Pham, a nurse at the Texas Health Presbyterian, was released from the National Institutes of Health in Maryland on Oct. 24 after being cleared herself of the virus. She later met and hugged President Obama.
She caught Ebola while caring for Thomas Duncan, the first patient diagnosed in the United States, who died Oct. 8
