Bernie Sanders went on a spending spree last month in his bid for the White House — and now has just $14.7 million in his war chest, less than half Hillary Clinton’s $32.9 million.
Sanders raised $21 million in January, but spent $35 million, an investment that paid off in New Hampshire, where he trounced Clinton by 22 points.
Clinton raised $15 million and spent $20 million that month.
