The Kamala Harris campaign is laying its cards down (down, down, down).
Pop icon Beyoncé reportedly will join the vice president at a Friday rally in the “Crazy in Love” singer’s hometown of Houston, the second appearance by a music superstar alongside the Democratic nominee in as many days.
Queen Bey will reportedly be accompanied by country music star Willie Nelson and her mom Tina Knowles, one day after rock legend Bruce Springsteen was scheduled to appear with Harris and former President Barack Obama in Atlanta.

The 43-year-old previously performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Obama’s second inauguration in 2013 and did a campaign concert to support Hillary Clinton in 2016.

That never came to pass, but campaign officials have been working behind the scenes to coordinate an appearance with the star, according to CNN and multiple reports.
In addition to Springsteen and Beyoncé, Harris has been endorsed by pop singer Taylor Swift and rapper Eminem, the latter of whom campaigned for Harris in his hometown of Detroit alongside Obama Tuesday night.
Harris’ trip to deep-red Texas will include a stump appearance with Senate hopeful Rep. Colin Alred (D-Texas) and an interview with podcaster Brené Brown.

No Democratic presidential candidate has triumphed in Texas since Jimmy Carter in 1976, and the state has not elected a Democratic senator since Lloyd Bentsen won a fourth term in 1988.
The Harris-Walz campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
