Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden expressed his sympathy for the victims of the weekend’s mass shootings in Houston and Michigan — bungling the locations of the tragedies in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.

Speaking at a fundraiser in San Diego on Sunday evening, the 76-year-old former vice president talked about the “tragic events in Houston today and also in Michigan the day before,” the Washington Examiner reported Monday, citing pool reports of Biden’s remarks.

Biden was speaking at the home of businessman Mark Arabo, an advocate for persecuted Iraqi Christians, the report said.

During his remarks, Biden said he doesn’t hold President Trump personally responsible for the shootings that killed 29 people and wounded dozens more, but added that “the president’s words have meaning, no matter who he or she is.”

Last week during the Democratic presidential debate, Biden flubbed the address where people could send donations to his campaign.

“If you agree with me, go to Joe 30330 and help me in this fight,” Biden said in his closing remarks on stage Wednesday night.

His campaign corrected his blunder the next day.

“In case you missed last night’s debate, Joe meant to say ‘Text Joe to 30330’ but left a word out,” it said. “Oops.”

Biden also explained to reporters how he made the gaffe.

“Instead of saying ‘Joe’ I would’ve said ‘text,'” he said. “I was so focused on making the case for Joe I said ‘Joe’ when I gave the number. It was text, so you know, I would have changed that. But you guys have printed it 15 times and it’s getting great results for us now.”
