Three migrants from Tajikistan who were arrested in the US for allegedly having ties to ISIS used the Biden-Harris administration’s CBP One app to get into the country, a new report revealed.

Additionally, at least 99 other suspected terrorists have been released into the US in the last two years after crossing the southern border, according to data the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) provided to the House Judiciary Committee.

The Biden administration rolled out the CBP One entry program for asylum seekers in January 2023 in anticipation of the end of the Trump-era expulsion COVID-era order known as Title 42. From that point, migrants could schedule their entry appointments on the app while in Mexico — with the idea that only those using the app would be allowed to claim asylum.

Each day, the administration lets in roughly 1,500 migrants through the CBP One program. In total, the app has allowed more than 680,500 migrants to schedule entry appointments, according to federal data.

The CBP One program boasts that its entrants are “thoroughly screened and vetted, and individuals who pose a national security or public safety concern are detained.” That vetting done through “biographic and biometric” checks, which is also how Border Patrol checks migrants who cross illegally.

Earlier this year, federal agents arrested eight Tajik nationals who had crossed the border and were released into the US after discovering they were suspected of ties to the brutal ISIS terror group. The Post first reported the arrests.

They were scooped up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in June in a multi-state sting that took place in New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia, sources previously revealed to The Post.

The group underwent vetting when crossing the border, which didn’t turn up any information suggesting their alleged terror times at the time.

While in the US, federal authorities began wiretapping them and found that one of the now-arrested individuals was talking about bombs, the sources said.

Between fiscal years 2021 and 2023, federal border authorities encountered more than 250 illegal migrants at the southern border whose names appear on the watchlist from 36 different countries, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria, Tajikistan and Yemen, the congressional report revealed.

Another 34 illegal immigrants on the watchlist are in DHS custody currently, according to the data.

In total, 99 migrants with suspected terror ties were allowed into the country, per the data.

The committee also revealed that immigration judges granted bond to at least 27 illegal immigrants whose names appeared on the terror watchlist after they crossed the southern border illegally between fiscal years 2021 and 2023 — allowing them to enter the US.

DHS didn’t immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.

“The open-borders policies of President Joe Biden and border czar Vice President Kamala Harris have allowed millions of illegal aliens to enter the United States, including terrorist organizations and other bad actors looking to harm Americans,” the Judiciary Committee said of the latest revelations.

“With the border in chaos under the Biden-Harris Administration, the terrorist threat to the homeland has skyrocketed. This border insecurity has been the Administration’s choice, and it is a mistake.”

FBI Director Chris Wray has warned about the potential for ISIS to commit an attack on US soil and shared that the bureau was looking into a human smuggling operation at the southern border with ties to terrorists from ISIS-affiliated groups.

Border agents have told The Post that they’re knowingly releasing terrorists because they lack information from foreign countries on their citizens.

“Knowing who these guys are, we have, like, no access to anything international. Like, we really don’t and it kind of sucks,” said one border agent, who spoke anonymous because they were not authorized to give public statements.

“I wanted to get into Border Patrol and protect from terrorists. And it’s like, well, I probably let terrorists in the country.”

Rep. August Pfluger previously pressed Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on the issue during a Congressional hearing. Mayorkas, however, couldn’t definitively say whether or not DHS has a policy of detaining anyone whose name is on the watchlist.

“Individuals who pose a threat to the public safety or national security are a priority for enforcement,” Mayorkas said.

“And if in fact they pose such a threat, they are to be detained,”
