The oldest-ever president is about to meet with the oldest living president.

President Biden will meet with former President Jimmy Carter on Thursday as he marks his first 100 days in office with a trip to Georgia.

Biden will meet with Carter, 96, and former first lady Rosalynn Carter, 93, in Plains, Ga., White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki tweeted.

The trip will follow Biden’s first address to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday night.

While in Georgia, Biden also will host a drive-in car rally, despite an anticipated focus on global warming in his remarks.

Biden, 78, took office as a US senator from Delaware four years before Carter’s inauguration as the country’s 39th president in 1977.

Biden remained in the Senate throughout Carter’s administration and until he became vice president in 2009.

When he was sworn in on Jan. 20 Biden became the oldest person to assume the office.

The trip to Georgia will celebrate, in part, a pair of Democratic victories in Senate runoff elections on Jan. 5 that flipped control of the Senate and expanded Biden’s power to pass legislation.

Psaki said at a recent press briefing that Biden talks “regularly” with former President Barack Obama, but declined to divulge how often he speaks with other ex-presidents.

“I would say [Obama] is the president he is most frequent — former president he’s most frequently in touch with,” Psaki said.

Biden took office following a bitter campaign against former President Donald Trump. He recently spoke with former Republican President George W. Bush about his decision to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan.
