A truck crashed into a US military vehicle in the German province of Bavaria on Monday, forcing eight soldiers to a local hospital for precautionary screening, according to a report.
The military truck was on the shoulder of the A3 highway near Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz — about 20 miles southeast of Nuremberg — when it was rear-ended by the civilian rig, the Associated Press said.
