A trans-Atlantic flight from Ireland was searched when it landed in Philadelphia yesterday because of a bomb threat, but investigators found nothing suspicious.

US Airways Flight 777 from Shannon, Ireland, was met on the tarmac by federal authorities after a telephone threat about a bomb was made, Philadelphia police said.

The plane continued as planned to Pittsburgh after its stop in Philadelphia.
