British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been released from intensive care, but remains hospitalized in London, battling the coronavirus, according to multiple reports.

“The Prime Minister has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery,” a spokesman said on Thursday. “He is in extremely good spirits.”

Johnson, 55, is at London’s St. Thomas’ Hospital while the government is being run by Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab.

He has been sitting up in bed but could still be out of action for at least a month, according to reports.

The prime minister was first diagnosed with the virus on March 27, and has been hospitalized for four days.
