Officials say cadaver dogs continuing to search the area where human remains were found Wednesday could likely find more.

Conditions Thursday at at the Florida park where Brian Laundrie’s suspected remains are more conducive to the dogs picking up the scent.

Michael Hadsell, president of the Peace River K9 Search and Rescue, said the dogs initially could not pick up any scent of decaying remains because parts of the reserve were still under several feet of water.

“The problem is people don’t understand that dogs are not body finders, they are odor hunters,” said Hadsell, who wasn’t involved in the search for Laundrie but has assisted in searches at the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park.

The “probability is strong” that the human remains found in a Florida park on Wednesday belong to Brian Laundrie, a representative for the family said Wednesday night.

A month after police began searching for Brian Laundrie, police discovered items belonging to Laundrie at the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park near his parents home in North Port, Florida.

Authorities called in a cadaver dog and the medical examiner to assist.

Civilians had previously reported potential sightings of Laundrie on the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia, as well as other spots in Florida.

Internet sleuths claim a cloud formation “angel” is hovering in the sky in a recently surfaced photo of Gabby Petito’s Ford Transit being transported on the back of a truck in Florida.

In the photo, a wispy cloud is seen hovering over the top of the van.

It's not the first time images like this have captured the attention of the internet masses following Petito's case.
