Someone threw a brick with the word “traitor” on it through the home window of a UK man who prominently displayed anti-Brexit posters.

Jim Cornelius, from Lewes, East Sussex, tweeted photos Thursday of the offending brick, as well as the glass shattered in his home.

“I’ve just had a brick thrown through my window,” wrote Cornelius, who reports say is an associate fellow at the UK Trade Policy Observatory.

“Just finished cleaning up the kitchen [as] best I can,” he added in another. “Glass everywhere. The brick hit my Google Home Hub and damaged the screen. I called 999 within seconds. But they can do nothing. Whoever did it was gone before I got to the door. Wife and myself stoic, but my son is very upset.”

The brick appeared to have words on both sides. One side said “traitor,” but the message on the other side was unclear.

Cornelius’ posters bore the messages “Stop Brexit” and “Liberal Democrats Demand Better.”

The incident came a day after Prime Minister Boris Johnson was jeered with cries of “Resign” from rival politicians as he appeared before a re-opened Parliament.

But Johnson remained defiant, blasting his “zombie” rivals” and insisting he was “confident” he would get a new divorce agreement to pull Britain out of the European Union by the end of October as he has promised.
