These lovebirds’ engagement got off to a rocky start.

A man’s romantic proposal atop an Austrian mountain ended in disaster Sunday moments after his new fiancée said, “Yes” — when she slipped and plunged off a 650-foot cliff, according to the Sun.

The 32-year-old woman miraculously survived when snow broke her fall from the mountain at the Falkert resort in Carinthia, the outlet reported.

Her 27-year-old partner tried to grab her but took a tumble himself, soaring 50 feet through the air before grabbing a ledge and holding on for dear life, the Sun reported, citing Bild.

A passer-by rescued the unconscious woman while her fiancé, who suffered a fractured vertebra, was rescued by a chopper.

Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

“The two were extremely lucky. Had it not been for snow, it would have turned out very differently,” a police officer said at the scene.
