He showed off the wrong member of Parliament.
A British MP was forced to apologize Tuesday after he was caught with his pants down — with a video showing him flashing a woman in a pub.
James Grundy was shown dropping his pants — then lifting up his shirt to fully expose his genitals after being egged on by a woman standing behind the camera, according to the clip obtained by LBC.
“There’s no way you can get my face in this,” he told the camera filming in the noisy pub, with the woman telling him, “Shirt up or nothing.”
James GrundyThe Conservative MP for Leigh admitted it was him, telling LBC, “I apologize for my actions and for any offense caused.”
The incident took place in late 2007 at the Rams Head Inn pub in Lowton, in Grundy’s constituency, but before he was elected to Parliament.
The Conservative party stressed that it happened at “a private event” where “all present were 18 or over,” according to the BBC.
However, some of his outraged constituents still demanded his resignation.
“He should step down as a minimum and [it should be] looked into a bit more closely through the correct authorities,” one told LBC.
Another told the talk radio station that it was “absolutely disgraceful.”
“He shouldn’t be an MP — certainly not here, thank you,” the local insisted. “I don’t think a person that can do that should be a public figure.”
