Britain’s Parliament has made a stunning power grab from pro-Brexit Prime Minister Theresa May over the government’s decision to leave the European Union.

May’s plan for withdrawal from the EU has already been voted down — twice.

So frustrated British lawmakers late Monday passed an amendment handing themselves the power to vote on alternatives to her plan.

The government usually decides when Parliament votes.
