Tardiness saved this kid’s life.

Dawood Ibrahim lost all of his ninth-grade classmates in the Taliban massacre at a military-run school in Pakistan Tuesday — but his life was spared, thanks to his faulty alarm clock.

The 15-year-old overslept Tuesday morning, forcing him to skip school that day. As he was sleeping, six suicide-vest-clad Taliban terrorists struck the Army Public School in Peshawar, killing 148 people before blowing themselves up.

Ibrahim’s older brother, Sufyan, said his brother is lucky to be alive.

The young teen spent all of Wednesday attending the funerals of his close friends.

“No one from his class survived,” his brother said. “Every single one of them was killed.”

The mass murder left Ibrahim speechless as he tried to comprehend what happened.

“Dawood isn’t talking to anyone, he isn’t talking at all,” Sufyan said. “He is in judo and is a tough child but he is showing no emotion at all right now.”

A total of 132 schoolchildren, ranging in age from 6 to 16, were among those killed in one of Pakistan’s deadliest terrorist attacks. An additional 121 students and three staff members were wounded during the eight-hour bloodbath.
