A video of cops arresting a 17-year-old suspected of helping pull off a chaotic jewelry store heist in Los Angeles last month exploded across social media as viewers mistook police for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

Officers were seen rushing in and tackling the teen to the ground as angry bystanders shouted and protested.

“May these nazi pigs burn in hell,” one person wrote on a clip posted to X that described the officers as working for ICE.
“Typical ICE behavior,” another added.
“Half these guys think they’re in a video game,” a third chimed in.
Anaheim police later clarified that the men in the footage were undercover officers apprehending the teen for his links to a $1 million robbery in Anaheim Hills on Jan. 20.

Facebook/Classic JewelersAfter ransacking the business in January, the suspects sped off in two Dodge Chargers, crashed twice, ending their wild getaway. However, only seven of the eight suspects were taken into custody at the time.
In addition to his growing rap sheet, the teen also had a felony warrant for his arrest in Los Angeles County, according to ABC7.
