Officials in San Francisco are on a mission to curb rude cabbies who are pooping and urinating in the airport’s designated taxi parking lot, according to a report.

Seth Morgan, a senior transportation planner at San Francisco International Airport, issued an email notice to the city’s cabbies late last month, which was posted to a taxi message board, according to the San Francisco Examiner.

“Airport staff have noticed an increased rate of urination and defecation in the rear of SFO Taxi Lot #3 and nearby stairwells,” Morgan wrote in the letter, obtained by the paper. “This creates a highly unsanitary condition and a health hazard for SFO custodians and other staff handling the materials stored in these areas.”

Morgan reminded drivers that a nearby restroom is open 24/7 — and that “failing to use the appropriate facility will not be tolerated.”

Cabbies who still decide to relieve themselves in the lot can face “additional enforcement action,” and local police will be involved, the letter said.

Taxi drivers queue up at specific areas at the airport as they wait for passengers heading into the city.

“Drivers are encouraged to time their visits to the restroom appropriately, as your place in line is not guaranteed if the line moves while you are away,” Morgan advised drivers.

John Lazar, former owner of Luxor Cab Co., told the outlet that he was stunned to see the enforcement letter.

“I don’t think our cab drivers are [so] degenerate [that] they piss and s–t on the streets,” Lazar said.

Still, he added, it’s easy for officials to lay down the law because rides from the airport to the city are such money-makers for cabbies.

But taxi driver Tariq Mehmood sided with airport officials, conceding that the bathrooms are only 60 feet away.

“The bathroom is close enough,” he told the paper.
