A California high school has sparked outrage after students were asked to identify “a group of idiots” in a quiz — and the only answers to choose from were “KKK,” “all of Florida,” “Fox News” or “Texans.”
The controversial multiple-choice question was given to students at Whitney High School, just outside Sacramento, by a social science teacher last Thursday, Fox40 reports.
The question read: “A group of complete idiots is: a) KKK, b) all of Florida, c) Fox News, or d) Texans.”
The school has vowed to conduct a “thorough investigation” after furious parents said the question was intended to ridicule conservative students.
Principal Justin Cutts vowed to take “appropriate disciplinary steps” in a letter to parents over the weekend as he acknowledged their concerns about the quiz.

“Whitney High and Rocklin Unified is committed to providing each student, family and staff with a safe and welcoming environment.
“While personnel matters will remain confidential, appropriate disciplinary steps will be taken.”
The teacher hasn’t been publicly named but some parents insisted it isn’t the first time he has made disparaging comments about conservatives or the Republican Party.

“This has been the first time it has been looked at of him crossing the line.”
Another said, “We all have different beliefs. This is the United States and we all come from different backgrounds and everybody should be okay with who they are.”
