An ex-con has been charged with abduction after a security camera caught him violently dragging the mother of his children from a convenience store in Ohio, police said.

A warrant has been issued for the suspect, identified in reports as 32-year-old Rosco Hillard Jr., but an arrest had not yet been made as of Thursday morning, Cleveland Police Department Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia told The Post.

Detectives responded to a residence on Derbyshire Road in Cleveland Heights on Tuesday, after the 40-year-old victim seen on the video contacted police regarding the investigation.

“The female was positively identified as the victim and she is in good health,” Ciaccia wrote in an email. “The suspect was not on scene.”

The victim told police Hillard — who has a history of domestic violence — is the father of her children. Detectives will continue to investigate the incident with members of the department’s Domestic Violence Unit, Ciaccia said.

The 2-minute video released Tuesday by Cleveland police begins with the suspect’s gold Chevy Trailblazer pulling into the parking lot at the convenience store at 3608 Woodland Ave. on Jan. 12.

The woman quickly darts from the vehicle, walking toward the store, as the driver parks the Trailblazer and then follows the woman into the store. Once inside, the crying woman asks a clerk to use a phone to call police.

Four other women at the counter then walk away as the victim holds the phone, apparently awaiting a response, the video shows. The man then forcefully grabs the woman and drags her out of the store and into his truck outside. The vehicle then pulls out of the parking lot, making a right-hand turn, the video shows.

Hillard was sentenced to two years in prison in 2011 for attempted felonious assault, child endangering and domestic violence, according to Cleveland.com. He was also sentenced to six years in prison in 2005 for felonious assault, conspiring to commit felonious assault and aggravated robbery.
