Prince Andrew has lost yet another honor — a Canadian high school that was named after him.

The principal of Prince Andrew High School in Nova Scotia emailed families Wednesday with the “exciting news” that the school is finally ditching the sex scandal-scarred royal’s name, according to reports.

“The name of a school should be reflective of our school community and uphold our values as a safe and inclusive learning space for all,” principal Craig Campbell wrote in a message shared by the Coast Halifax.

“Our hope is to continue to build our identity as a positive, supportive and respectful community, with a name to match.”

The school in Dartmouth was named after Andrew in 1960, soon after he was born.

But the name started raising concern from 2011, when Andrew was publicly accused of having sex with one of the underage girls trafficked by his now-deceased pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein, CBC News noted.

School officials formed committees to debate a possible name change in 2019, when Andrew was formally booted from royal duties amid his disastrous attempts to justify his friendship with Epstein and now-convicted madam Ghislaine Maxwell, the national broadcaster said.

While the principal did not mention the sex scandal in his email, the decision comes a week after Andrew’s mom, Queen Elizabeth II, stripped her middle son of the “His Royal Highness” title, meaning he will fight his accuser’s Manhattan lawsuit as a “private citizen.”

Many were already calling the school PA High, rather than using Andrew’s name, while calling for the historic change, CBC previously noted.

“As a mother of three daughters, I find it very difficult to have that name on a building where our children are supposed to feel safe and with the allegations and the associations now with the Prince Andrew name,” the chair of the school advisory council, Belinda Oxner, told the broadcaster in 2019.

A new name will be chosen in time for the new school year in September, the principal said.

“We’re ready and excited to take this next step,” Campbell wrote of the latest humiliation for the disgraced duke.
