A Connecticut gubernatorial candidate needed to be dragged off the stage by cops Monday when she showed up to a forum she wasn’t invited to and refused to leave.

Lee Whitnum was rambling onstage at the candidates’ debate in Brookfield High School when cops desperately tried her shut her up and oust her from the venue.

The 57-year-old woman continued shouting that she has “every right to be here” and eventually dropped to the floor, soliciting groans from the crowd.

She was charged with breach of the peace and trespassing.

State Democratic Chairman Nick Balletto says Whitnum’s “behavior was inappropriate, and frankly it’s not the first time.”
