Carnival Cruise Line is taking sea-sickness to the next level.
The company on Thursday announced plans to launch the first-ever cruise ship with a roller coaster on board.
Its electric Bolt “sea coaster” will circle the top of a new vessel called the Mardi Gras when the boat launches in 2020.
The ride will allow passengers to sit on a motorcycle-like car as it twists and turns along almost 800 feet of track at speeds of nearly 40 miles per hour, according to the cruise line.
The Mardi Gras will be based in Port Canaveral, Fla., but the company is yet to announce where it will be sailing.
