A body was found Friday on the rural property of a South Carolina man who kept a woman “chained up like a dog” inside a metal storage container on his land, officials said.

The Spartanburg County coroner said the body was found on 45-year-old Todd Kohlhepp’s Woodruff property near where Kala Brown, 30, was discovered living inside a windowless, 15-foot-wide storage container, WYFF Greenville reported. Brown and her boyfriend had gone missing in August.

The body was not immediately identified. But Brown told investigators she saw Kohlhepp shoot and kill her boyfriend, according to testimony at his bond hearing Friday.
