Superstar songstress Chappell Roan revealed that she dropped her high-profile talent agency after its founder’s ties to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein came to light.
“As of today, I am no longer represented by Wasserman, the talent agency led by Casey Wasserman,” the “Pink Pony Club” crooner wrote on social media Monday of her exit from Wasserman Music.

Wasserman, who was picked to lead the LA28 Olympic organizing committee, has faced increasing calls to step down after his named surfaced in the Epstein files.
A recent release of documents showed a raunchy email exchange between Wasserman and Epstein madam Ghislaine Maxwell.

“I never had a personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein,” he added.
Wasserman also represents talents like funnyman Adam Sandler, actor Brad Pitt and rapper Kendrick Lamar.
Roan said in her statement, “I refuse to passively stand by.”
“Artists deserve representation that aligns with their values and supports their safety and dignity,” she added.

“I think Casey Wasserman needs to step down,” LA County Supervisor Janice Hahn said. “Having him represent us on the world stage distracts focus from our athletes and the enormous effort needed to prepare for 2028.”

The Los Angeles Times reported that many in the entertainment industry suspect a wave of departures from his agency.
Fellow pop singer Billie Eilish left the agency in 2024 after allegations of Wasserman’s sexual misconduct emerged. Bethany Cosentino, the solo artist and founder of the band Best Coast, left the agency last week due to Wasserman’s ties to Epstein.
Roan is among the more politically active music figures, noting in 2024 that she didn’t favor Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, earning her a wave of criticism. She later clarified she would vote for her over President Donald Trump.
