French authorities have launched a probe into new death threats directed at French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, over a year after Islamic terrorists killed 12 people at its headquarters, according to reports published Wednesday.

At least one of the threats was originally posted on Charlie Hebdo’s own Facebook page before it was taken down, according to the Le Parisienand The Local newspapers.

That threat targeted editorial staffers at the famed Paris-based periodical.

The editor has also received threats within days of the social media posting.

“The messages raise the idea of killing several members of the editorial [staff] again,” a source told Le Parisien.

Islamic terrorists targeted Charlie Hebdo on Jan. 7 of last year, when brothers Said and Chérif Kouachi killed 11 employees and a responding police officer.

The hate-mongers were hunted down and killed two days later after they took hostages at a print shop about 25 miles north of Paris.
