A disturbing video has emerged of a young masked child in Syria firing an AK47 assault rifle and pledging his devotion to Islam.

The footage was posted on the YouTube account of a user named Abd Sad, who has also posted pro-ISIS propaganda, according to the Daily Mail.

The young boy appears to be about 6-years-old and he handles the weapon relatively well — despite recoil from the powerful weapon that forces him to stumble just a bit on each shot.

The child is called “cub cub” according to video captions and the footage was shot in Ghouta, a rural area on the outskirts of Damascus that’s believed to be an ISIS hotbed.
