A woman in Santiago, Chile, came home to an unpleasant shock on Wednesday, when she found a puma had broken into and trashed her house.

The cat, sometimes called a cougar or a mountain lion, made a mess of the home’s interior, presumably while scrounging for grub, The Mirror reports.

The unnamed woman, who wisely kept her distance from the cat, called the Agriculture and Livestock Service of Chile after making the unexpected discovery.

Once on the scene, workers sedated the puma and transported it to a local zoo, but not before snapping some shots of the cat.

An investigation will be conducted to figure out how exactly the animal broke into the house — though a broken window would appear to be its likely entry point.
