This is not the kind of aged meat you want to sink your teeth into.

More than 100,000 tons of decades-old frozen chicken feet, beef and duck necks were confiscated by Chinese authorities in what is just one of the latest food scandals to affect China.

Authorities busted more than 20 people June 1 after seizing the tainted meat, some of which had packing dates going back to the 1970s.

“It was too smelly! I almost threw up when I opened the door,” one officer told China Daily, a state-run news outlet.

A portion of the frozen food had already started thawing inside the non-refrigerated truck.
