CBS journalist Ashley Morrison yesterday returned to the airwaves for the first time since her anchorman husband, Rob, allegedly choked and then threatened to kill her in their Connecticut home.

Ashley read a rundown of US business headlines on “CBS2 News This Morning” — the same show Rob Morrison, 44, anchored until he resigned in disgrace last Wednesday.

Before that, wearing a sleeveless, black top, Ashley, 40, read a wrap-up of financial news on “CBS Morning News” just after 4 a.m.

The blond CBS “MoneyWatch” reporter had not been on the air since Rob’s Feb. 17 arrest at their million-dollar home in Darien, Conn.

Rob told an officer he would kill Ashley if released from custody, according to the police report.

Ashley told The Post last week that her time off was unrelated to his arrest, and had been previously scheduled around their 7-year-old son’s school break.
